MY ESTIACY — Property & Flatmate Marketplace in Cyprus

1A) What is MY ESTIACY?

Last updated: 17/06/2026

MY ESTIACY is a Cyprus-focused property and flatmate marketplace designed to make it easier to:

Rent a home
Sell or buy a home
Find a room or a flatshare
Find a compatible flatmate
Find short-stay accommodation, serviced accommodation, or hotel-style listings where available

We bring listings and people together in one place, with tools that help users connect and move forward faster.

What makes us different

A marketplace only works if users trust it. MY ESTIACY is built with safety and quality in mind:

User verification: Where enabled, we offer or require identity verification to reduce fake profiles and scams.
Verification with privacy: Where identity verification is enabled, identity checks are handled by a third-party provider, and we aim to configure that provider so that we do not retain copies of ID document images on our own systems. The exact configuration in force at any time is reflected in our Privacy Policy and Verification Policy.
Property verification measures: We implement checks designed to reduce fake or misleading listings.
Clear rules: We enforce listing standards and take action against scams, duplicate spam, bait-and-switch tactics, and abusive behaviour.
Cyprus-first: We focus on properties located in Cyprus (with the option to expand later).

What we are (and what we're not)

MY ESTIACY is a marketplace platform. We help users connect. We are not:

A real estate agent or broker
A landlord or seller
A party to your rental, sale, or flatshare agreement

Transactions and agreements happen directly between users. We only provide the platform and the tools to connect.

Legal operator

MY ESTIACY is a registered business name (Cyprus business name reg. EE62897a) operated by Miltos Ioannidis (sole trader).

Visibility tools: Featured and Boost options help you get attention when you need it.
Trust features: Verified profiles and property verification helps serious users engage faster.
Simple management: Edit, update, renew, and track your listing performance.

For flatmates

Compatibility matters: Profiles and preferences help you find the right match.
Less risk: Identity verification, where enabled, helps reduce fake accounts.
More control: You decide what you share and when.

1C) How MY ESTIACY Works

MY ESTIACY has two sides: people who post and people who search. Both use the same simple flow.

A) If you're looking to rent or buy

Search: Use filters for location, price, size, and features.
Shortlist: Save listings you like and compare easily.
Contact: Message the landlord/seller/agent directly through the Platform.
View: Arrange a viewing. Ask questions. Verify authority.
Agree and complete: Contracts, deposits, and payments happen directly between you and the other party.

B) If you're renting out or selling

Create a listing: Add real photos, accurate details, and clear pricing.
Verify where available: Complete identity verification, if enabled or required, to build trust.
Publish: Your listing goes live for Cyprus users to discover.
Respond to enquiries: Reply quickly and keep details updated.
Boost visibility (optional): Use Featured or Boost tools to increase exposure.
Complete the deal directly: Viewings, contracts, deposits, and payments happen between you and the tenant/buyer.

C) If you want a room or a flatmate

Post a room / post what you're looking for — add photos and a clear description
Match and message
Meet and agree house rules
Start sharing

Important: MY ESTIACY connects people. We are not part of the transaction. Always do your own checks before paying anything or signing any agreement.
